Many people enjoy off-road riding.  This is often called four wheeling, or off-roading.  Many types of vehicles are used.  What many people don’t realize is that the same company that makes a Razor Scooter makes a four wheeler called the Razor Dirt Quad.

This Razor Dirt Quad boasts an electric motor.  It has features such as big tires and heavy suspension.  So it fits in the off road world.  People love to race it, or just ride around the countryside.  Sometimes people take it to the store.

The engine is something.  The motor has 350 Watts and is amazingly quiet.  That’s strange because people associate noise with power.  It fits in a very small space.  The list price is $330.

Off-road is popular with kids.  Someone over 120 pounds can’t ride a Razor Dirt Quad.  It isn’t made for big people.  Kids riding one should be supervised.

It has a 24 volt lead acid battery.  It’s really two 12 volt batteries sealed together.  It’s 8 hours to charge to maximum capacity.  A charge delivers an hour of operation.  Its maximum speed is 8 mph.  It weighs in at 100 pounds.

The Razor Dirt Quad can be found at low prices.  It’s less than $300 at Amazon.  Wal-Mart, on the other hand sells it for $349.67.  That’s a savings of $50.  You could use an extra $50, right?

Use a price comparison site to buy a Razor Dirt Quad.  My Simon is one of these.  It shows a lot of different prices for this vehicle.  It lists Amazon’s price incorrectly at $370.

Yahoo maintains an excellent shopping site as well.  It shows Amazon’s proper price for the Razor Dirt Quad.  It’s accurate and the best deal.

Google returns 50,000 links for a Razor Dirt Quad search.  That’s a lot from which to choose.  One of the hits on Google also shows pocket bikes.  They’re off road motorcycles.  They’re much heavier than the Razor.  They travel much more quickly too.  Some of them have top speeds over 50 mph.
